10 WOMEN WHO MADE THE WORLD DANCE

This book is a homage to the brave creators who preceded us, but is also a source of inspiration for the ones after us.

In this children's book, printed in Basque, Spanish, Catalan and English, 10 biographies are collected from the women who revolutionised the world of dance: Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Mary Wigman, Pina Bausch, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Carolyn Carlson, Trisha Brown, Robyn Orlin, Germaine Acogny and Natsu Nakajima.

10 chapters, one for each of these creators, where their stories are told and also some funny activities are proposed to get the little ones (or not so little) dance at home.

Either if you are 7 years old or if you keep your inner child, this book is thought to inspire you, to make you move and remember those women who, with their bodies, minds, imagination and words established the basis of dance.

On behalf of Espacio Punto de Fuga and all the professionals involved in this book, we believe that we need to remember those who came first, narrate their achievements, their stories and thank for everything they have left for us.

We encourage you to take avery chapter in your hands, read it and follow their proposals.

Let's dance!
